Outside of our regular talks and appearances at events, conferences and workshops, Five10Twelve has produced innovative events, performances, sessions and panels with partners including Arts Council England, Library of Birmingham, Nesta and SXSW Interactive. Upcoming events and appearances include Heritage Digital Now, (The Heritage Alliance) and Creative Coalition - production of two sessions for Five10Twelve and Pioneering Places, in partnership with Creative England and Creative Industries Federation.
Five10Twelve and its founding directors have created and produced a number of installations using a wide range of media and techniques – physical, digital and interactive – for a number of live events and exhibitions. These have included hand-cast resin sculptures, 3D projection mapping, 3D printing, interactive performance pieces, digital animation and mechanical sculptures.
Creative and Cultural
Five10Twelve has been commissioned to develop and produce the Pioneering Places Research and Knowledge Base (RKB) and to support collaboration and knowledge sharing across the project partners and stakeholder across all four locations and the wider creative community.
The IK Prize is presented annually by Tate for an idea that uses digital technology to innovate the way we discover, explore and enjoy British art in the Tate collection. Our idea My Tate Mate was shortlisted in 2015 for the Tate IK Prize. My Tate Mate was an innovative mobile app that used complex algorithms to match snapshots with artworks, three whole years before Google launched its own Art Selfie app.
